Fee-based? No

Provided by local Record Office? The Public Record Office for Northern Ireland (PRONI) will do limited research if reader has reference number of material in the depository. Full family history queries are not undertaken by staff. PRONI has lists of researchers who will undertake searches on behalf of individuals who cannot visit PRONI in person.

The Department has published censuses for Ireland from 1841, but no census returns are held
The Department has Griffiths Valuation 1848 (a census substitute) on microfiche for Ireland and in hard-copy for most of Northern Ireland
