The public do not have access to the records to carry out their own research. Tipperary Heritage Unit, The Bridewell, St Michael's Street, Tipperary - the only centre with access to the Catholic records for the diocese of Cashel & Emly ~see map$ Bru Boru Heritage Centre, Cashel - Church of Ireland records for South Tipperary and Catholic records for the parishes in South Tipperary that are in the diocese of Waterford Tipperary North Family History Foundation, The Gatehouse, Kickham Street, Nenagh Tipperary North Family History Foundation - church records for North Tipperary apart from the Catholic parishes which are situated in the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly
