Photocopies are available from originals or microfilm, subject to copyright restrictions. We reserve the right to refuse to copy material if there is potential damage to the original. The library's stock covers the area of what was Dunfermline District Council: from Kincardine to Aberdour, along the Forth, and north not quite as far as Kinross. Specific questions will be answered where possible, but the library is not staffed for extensive or open-ended research.
